Heath's Post-Mortem Music Video Debut

Before his tragic death, Heath Ledger was a man of many talents. One of his final projects was the creation of a music video for the band Modest Mouse for their news song, 'King Rat.' A year and a half after his passing, Ledger's video can finally be seen on MySpace thanks to the efforts of THE MASSES (a film/music company Heath was a partner in.) As some of you might know, he was working with Terry Gilliam on 'The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' before he died, and you can definitely see how he might've been influenced in his creation of this video. Heath was also strongly opposed to whaling practices, which is depicted in the video (watch for the humans getting skinned alive! Yeah, if you don't like it, don't do it to the other animals...) So here we have it - a pro-animal rights Gilliamesque video created by the Joker himself and featuring the music of a band that made up a big chunk of my playlists as a teenager:

Totally dig it.
