Being poor as I am, I have lived in Miami all my life never having an opportunity to visit the Fairchild Tropical Gardens. Admission to this wonderful place is a bit on the not-so-frugal side (well in to the $20s per person.) However! They are apparently having their annual Free Sundays promotion for this whole month of August! Am I psyched to finally get a chance to wander about the gardens, taking in the pretty flowers and trees and plants? You bet I am! And if you're in Miami, you should take advantage as well. FTG is open from 9:30 to 4:230pm on Sundays and is located at 10901 Old Cutler Road.
